Fujingaho July Issue (May 31st Release)

The upcoming July Issue of Fujingaho is a special issue titled, "The next generation of creators inheriting Japan's sense of beauty and technique," which introduces the "Mawata Knit" from the WMV Fall and Winter 2024 collection. 

WMV Creative Director Kelsi Nakamura speaks on the charm of Mawata, as well as Japanese culture and customs passed down from prior generations in an interview style article where she also elaborates on her thoughts regarding the making of things with craftspeople.  There are also some styled photos featuring other products that utilize Mawata in their construction.  We hope you will pick up a copy at your local bookstore.
